The medieval island in Rome's historic center, home to a university and ancient temple ruins.
The fortress near Vatican City, featuring Renaissance frescoes and panoramic views.
The Tiber River cruise showcases Rome's most stunning riverside landmarks, from ancient temples to Renaissance masterpieces.
Originally built as a mausoleum for Emperor Hadrian in 139 AD, this fortress now houses a museum with Renaissance frescoes and unbeatable views across the city. The bridge leading to it is guarded by 10 stunning marble angels sculpted by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
One of Rome's most romantic bridges, lined with Bernini's 10 marble angels each holding symbols of Christ's Passion. Built on the foundations of a 2nd-century bridge, it's a masterpiece of Baroque art and engineering.
Commissioned by Emperor Augustus in 13 BC and rediscovered in fragments centuries later, this monumental altar celebrates the return of peace. Its intricate reliefs depict the imperial family and mythological scenes with extraordinary detail.
Rome's imposing Palace of Justice dominates the left bank with its marble columns and neoclassical design. The building is home to Italy's Supreme Court and is one of the largest law courts in the world.
Shaped like a ship and steeped in legend, this island has been a place of healing since Roman times (it once housed a hospital dedicated to Aesculapius). Today it's a charming, quiet refuge in the city's bustling heart, with narrow cobbled streets and medieval churches.
From the water, you'll see the charming Trastevere neighborhood with its ivy-covered buildings, laundry hanging between centuries-old homes, and the gorgeous Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere with its glittering medieval mosaics.
The only pedestrian bridge in Rome's center, rebuilt in the 1470s by Pope Sixtus IV (hence the name). Its elegant arches frame some of the Tiber's most photogenic views, especially at sunset.
Arrive 5 minutes early: Boats depart precisely on schedule. We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes before your chosen departure time to ensure a smooth boarding process. Show your digital ticket on your phone or print it out.
Not wheelchair accessible: Entry to the boat requires navigating stairs with no elevator access.
Evening boats are shorter: The 18:30 departure from Isola Tiberina and 18:00 from Castel Sant'Angelo only cover half the route due to daylight limitations. If you want a full 1-hour circuit, book an earlier time.
Subject to conditions: Tours may be cancelled or rescheduled in case of severe weather, flooding, or unsafe river conditions. You'll receive a full refund or rebooking option.
Central locations: Both stops are easily reachable by metro or taxi. Isola Tiberina is near the metro stop Colosseo (Line B). Castel Sant'Angelo is a 15-minute walk from Vatican City.
"The most relaxing way to see Rome. We hopped on and off as many times as we wanted, took photos at our own pace, and the audio guide was incredibly informative. Definitely recommend!"
"Great concept and beautiful views of the Tiber. My only criticism is that it would be nice to have longer stops at each location so you could explore a bit more before the boat leaves."
"Perfect for families with kids. Our children loved being on the water and learning about the monuments from the audio guide. The 24-hour validity gave us freedom to come back later."
Boats depart every 30 minutes from both stops (Isola Tiberina and Castel Sant'Angelo) between 10:00 and 18:30. Departure times are staggered so you can board at your preferred stop.

The tour has four stops: Isola Tiberina, Ponte Sisto, Piazza del Popolo and Castel Sant'Angelo. Scheduled boarding is only at Isola Tiberina and Castel Sant'Angelo. Ponte Sisto and Piazza del Popolo are exit-only stops.
